General Reflexology

Reflexology is a holistic healing therapy, that encourages the body to heal itself by balancing body, mind and spirit. If you suffer from any persistent problems you have learnt to live with or have not been medically resolved – how about taking charge of your own health and see how reflexology can make a difference.

Some of the conditions I have treated are:

  • Anxiety
  • Arthritis
  • Asthma & sinus
  • Back pain and skeletal injuries
  • Depression
  • Digestion disorders e.g. IBS, constipation, indigestion
  • Headaches & migraines
  • Hypertension
  • Insomnia
  • Menstruation problems eg PMS and cramps
  • Menopause symptoms
  • Sciatica
  • Skin conditions e.g. eczema and psoriasis
  • Symptoms of chemotherapy

The soothing and therapeutic benefits of reflexology have helped to improve well being and quality of life for many patients.

Reflexology for Stress

Stress is a result of the way we live our lives and the pace of life today.  You may feel pulled in many different directions or have to juggle multiple responsibilities, work commitment and family obligations.  Most people are unaware of the long term effects of stress and how, if unresolved, it shows up in dis-ease, which is why it is known as the “silent-killer”.

The first step to manage stress better is to put time aside to take care of yourself better.  Scheduling some regular reflexology treatments will give  you this time to relax, revitalize and restore yourself.  Even when your health issues are resolved – it is a good way to main good health and balance in your life.

Reflexology for Menopause

If you are a woman in your forties and older you may find yourself experiencing some of the following symptoms:

  • Hot flushes
  • Irritability and mood swings
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Fatigue
  • Sleeplessness
  • Irregular or heavy periods
  • Night sweats

If this is the case, you are more than likely going through peri-menopause – a time of uncomfortable hormonal changes, which will lead to menopause.  You may be advised to go onto HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy).   If you would like an alternative treatment you will find that regular reflexology can help to regulate your hormone levels in a natural way and you will have a better sense of wellbeing.  In addition the treatments will encourage deep relaxation and improve your moods.
